Developing V4 of My Website 🌐💼
About 5 years ago, as I write these lines, I discovered my first lines of code in a school setting. It was my very first year of BTS SIO in Annecy (in 2016-2017, something like that!). I developed the first version of my Portfolio in static HTML using Bootstrap.
Then, when I arrived at EPSI, I became a micro-entrepreneur, and my freelance life began with the resumption of my studies in Nantes, at the end of 2019 - early 2020. So I created the second version of my website at that time. Another static site, with little attention paid to optimization or the responsive aspect. Still, I was proud of what I'd accomplished. I had created a fully dynamic website with JavaScript, rich in animation and movement of pages and elements. The site was based on a huge vertical carousel.
Then came the third version, with the design of my avatar (the little blue bird there!). Statically developed, but more structured and clean, this is where my portfolio was born. Since then, I've added modules, complementary pages and easter eggs (I used this site as a huge sandbox!).
Two modules in particular are worth mentioning:
-
A site for the BTS that presents various projects carried out over the first two years, projects that met the criteria for the BTS exam.
-
Another palette creation and color generation module, made in native JavaScript. I needed to manage my color palettes automatically, so I developed this little web page! You can find it here: colors.andy-cinquin.fr.
